What it deliberately does not do
No credentials. Ever.
No field anywhere accepts a password, PIN or security answer, and a test walks every model to enforce it. What we record is where things are — never the keys to them.
Nothing stored unscanned
A file you attach is validated, re-encoded and checked for malware before it is stored — and refused outright if the scanner cannot be reached. Nothing hostile is ever written and then cleaned up later.
Encrypted, and honest about it
Names, dates of birth, addresses, account numbers and every free-text note are encrypted at rest, so a stolen backup is unreadable on its own. The limit, plainly: we hold the key. That protects your data from a lost disk or a leaked dump — it does not protect it from us.
